How to Reset a Polar Device for Users with the Phlex Swim App

Experiencing issues with corrupt workouts or missing accelerometer data on your Polar device while using the Phlex Swim App? Follow the steps below to perform a factory reset on your Polar device and resolve these issues.

Step 1: Download Polar Flow Software

First, download the Polar Flow software on your computer. Click here to download the software.

Step 2: Connect Your Polar Device to Your Computer

Next, connect your Polar device to your computer using the device's charger. Once connected, sync your Polar device with the Polar Flow software.

Step 3: Perform a Factory Reset on Your Polar Device

Locate the gear icon on the bottom right of the Polar Flow software interface and click on it. This will reveal the Factory Reset button. Click this button to initiate a factory reset on your device. Allow your device to sit undisturbed for a few minutes while the reset process completes.

Step 4: Re-sync Your Device with Polar Flow

Once the factory reset has finished, press the sync button within Polar Flow to reestablish the connection between your device and the software.

Step 5: Re-Pair Device in the Phlex Swim App

Finally, open the Phlex Swim App and navigate to your device management settings. Remove your Polar device from the paired devices list, then pair your device again.

Your device should now be ready for additional training sessions.
